Application Suitable for bonding PVC components such as pipes (also pressurised up to 1.5 bar), run-off bars, baffle plates, shutter bars, gutters, moulded parts, panels and many more. Properties / Features - PVC Pipes solvent adhesive - Very high strength - Single component. - Non ageing - Resistant to shear strain e.g. in pipes, sheets and profiles - Ready to use - Moderated speed drying, allowing small rectification during the installation. Surface cleaning The parts to be joined together must be clean and free of dust and grease. Clean with PVC cleaner if necessary. Directions for use Cut the pipes off evenly and lightly bevel. The parts to be joined together must be clean and free of dust and grease. Clean with PVC cleaner if necessary. Apply the adhesive evenly and join the parts together within 3 min. Wipe off any exposed adhesive. The connection is hand tight within 5-15 min. Hardening time approximately 24 h. Cleanup Clean with acetone or alcohol. Storage Store at room temperature. Chemical resistance The PVC is soluble in Cyclohexanone and THF. The rigid PVC, resists to smokes and corrosive liquids; basic and acids solutions; saline solutions and other solvent and chemical products.
